Today is a year since her passing. It is an easy day for me to remember as it is also my wedding anniversary! Let's remember Tasha today by having a cup of tea in her honor, shall we? I imagine that she is in heaven having tea with Beatrix Potter, surrounded by all of the Corgis and critters that have gone before her. I have no doubt that she has been put in charge of tending the garden at the pearly gates. And what a garden it must be! Take Joy, everyone! xo -CS ^..^

I REALLY have to look this lady up. I just got on here, and my son came in and said we had to leave... NOW! Darn, anyone with Corgis.... Linda
Oooh, has it been a year already? Its so hard to believe. I was so saddened when I heard, but I imagine she's back in the 1830s :) Ironically, we're watching Take Peace now because its so hot outside ;) 3 feet of vermont snow seemed just the thing to cool us down here on the prairie :)
First of all...Happy Anniversary to you and dearheart.
Second...a year has gone already? Oh my. I found her while working in our local library in the 80's, and have been enchanted by her and the lifestyle she chose to live, and of course her watercolors, and her love of corgi dogs. Due to her...we have two who have brought us such joy and enrichment. Love her videos, and I pull them out at Christmas time every year. Don't you just love her? Golly..
Love her, Love her. If only her family could settle their differences and let her rest in peace. ^..^
I'm not familiar with Tasha Tudor, I'll have to google her; sounds she loved gardens and corgis
Happy Anniversary to you and your husband, Cathy; wishing you two lots more happy years together!
betty
I can't believe its already been a year. I remember reading the news about her passing on MSN.com,then reading the email her family sent out from their website. Tasha Tudor was well-loved. The family set up a memorial at Legacy.com for her friends and fans to share their memories of her. She really touched a lot of people with her artwork and lifestyle.
ps...Happy Anniversary! How many years?
Sorry I didn't have time to read your whole post before we had to leave. The "Darn" was because we had to leave... and I was going to say anyone that has to do with corgi drawing or literary arts is someone I want to learn about!
Happy Anniversary, too! We are in our 33+ years of marriage ourselves... God Bless your year! Linda (OC's Mom)
By the way, I tried to click on the link called "Farewell Tasha Tudor" and it just keeps reloading your blog page... :(
Happy Anniversary!
I just finished reading Tasha Tudor's garden. Too funny that her corgi ate a bunch of water lilies, I can just see a corgi doing this. June 18, is my birthday so it is easy for me to remember it was the day of Tasha's passing. Afternoon tea sounds like the perfect way to remember her.
Happy Anniversary to you and John!
Love,
Steph
PS I, too, will lift a cup of tea to Tasha!!!
Happy Anniversary to you.
I can't believe it's been a year already... The Corgiville series already has a place in our baby's library :)
And oh, almost forgot, happy anniversary! Your anniversary is just a week after ours ;)
