Mary Elizabeth took these fun photos of the wee beasties playing in the snow today. Even her horses were having a grand time!
Enjoy the rest of the weekend! Take time to savor this week amidst all of the hustle and bustle. We all get only so many Christmases in our lifetime. Cherish each and every one. Hopefully, with someone you love.
Last but not least, here is a photo of one of our little nut heads....she stuck her whole head right in the snow! Ta ta for now my little Corgettes! xo Cat ^..^

No better way to wake up on Solstice than to see such beautiful and crazy pictures!!!
My Agatha does the Face/Snow bit all the time. She'll dive it down all the way and then come up snorting. I suspect she hears the voles under the snow!
He, he. They love the snow don't they? With their heavy coats, they could stay out for hours. I didn't know that you had horses also? I'm so jealous!! I really enjoyed these fun pics :)
Thanks, Anna! That's right...today is the first day of Winter.
Hey there, Tanya! The horses are Mary's. Aren't they cute? The close up is of Peanut the miniature horse. They are all so sweet. They all have their own little personalities.
I enjoyed every single picture of the corgis and horses frolicking in the snow!!! Koda is so jealous! when we lived in Montana he loved the snow and I loved watching him play in it and run through it, especially the first snow of the season
enjoy your snow and your Christmas with your family and your corgis :)
Merry Christmas
betty and Koda
I LOVED the pics of your four-legged friends. So cute and fun!! Its amazing how much energy and playfulness the cold and snow inspires in those pups. Thanks for sharing!
I adore I adore to the horses and the dogs. They are very sweet. Beautiful photos.
Much snow… one Christmas white.
Merry Christmas
I just loved the close up picture of the horses! That is a great picture! All looked like they had a great time playing in that white stuff. We are still hoping for a White Christmas here in West Virginia. Merry Christmas!!!
Oh they just crack me up! Are those corgis black and white or tri???? Tasha has been tunneling all afternoon, can't get her in.
Hi there!
You are making us very Corgi hungry! But, we live on a highway, and it would break our hearts if one got out in the road, you know. . .We'll just have to keep stopping by and enjoy yours vicariously!
Thanks for sharing, and Merry Christmas,
Marqueta
I wish we had that much snow! heehee
Great pics!
Hi everyone :) OK Suzanne, here goes (from the top): Chad is a red and white Corgi boy, then comes the close up of Peanut's snout (he's a miniature horse) The next two are black and white border collies Feisty and her daughter Rhyme (pulling Feisty's ear), Chad again and Brazen, a rat terrier/jack russell cross from the animal shelter, horses Willie and Deejay, Chad and Brazen, Emma, the black headed tri Corgi (notice the characteristic 'headlights' over her eyes, Deejay and Willie and Amy who is completely out of her sable coat :)
OH! I almost forgot Halo who is the red and white Corgi in the photo with Feisty, the black and white Border Collie. Silly me.
Oh Cathy!
The pictures are simply adorable! I hope you enjoy your Christmas as much as they do! ;-)
God Bless,
Jane
Looks like they had a blast! Reminds me of how fun it is playing with Bryson in the snow in the Sierras last month :) Enjoy the snow (but hopefully it's not too bitterly cold)!
Cathy,
It's a Corgi winter wonderland! What fun photos.
Wishing you the happiest of holidays and a blissful new year.
Warmest regards,
Susan
ohhhhh these are just the most beautiful photos, what a wonderful time they must have had. I used to have my own horse and these are lovely horses. Your sweeties must have dreamt of playing in the snow they had such fun :) Loved the photos of your home all decorated, with your cat looking at the grinch :) I've got a short story for Christmas on my blog at the moment. Have a wonderful Christmas, Catherine x
Wow. Just looking at these shots is enough to put anyone in the Christmas spirit. That first one of the corgi in the snow... just "prancing". And the horses!!
I love these, thank you so much for this post. I was singing jingle bells in my head while looking at them.
Dashing through the snow....
:)
Oh my gosh, I just discovered your blog and I LOVE it. The art work is amazing and so creative. I have two pembroke corgis: Cosmo (he's almost 2 yrs old and sable colored) and Stella (she's tri colored and about 8mos old). My mom wants to buy the Corgi Christmas Calendar from Cafe Press. Thanks for the beautiful blog!
I really enjoyed seeing these pics, so adorable. Merry Christmas!
Hugs,
Liz
I truly LOVE your blog and the pics are great... I want a good camera SO BAD!!!
Your Corgis and the other animals sure look like they are having fun out in the snow. We are in south central California and they have threatened us with snow a couple of times the past few weeks, but it's only gotten down to the rolling hills behind our place a couple of times. Maybe this weekend, though. I really want to see what our Corgi, Corgi mixes, Border Collie and horses do when they see some.
I am going to put your blog on my Corgi, O.C.'s, Blogsite, Country Corgi here on Blogspot, and on my Blogsite on Today.com... Grammy's Corgi Country.
Linda and O.C.
Oh my goodness! what awesome photos!! It was such a delight to see these animals romping in the white powder. Great photos, loads of action, and the horses playing, WOW!!! We don't get snow here, but i bet Remy would love to chase your pack around in it. ^_^ Happy New Year
Oh my gosh, these photos are just TOO CUTE! I love the one with the pony's nose - I want to kiss it!
