"Life isn't long enough to do all you could accomplish. And what a privilege even to be alive. In spite of all the pollutions and horrors, how beautiful this world is.
Supposing you only saw the stars once every year. Think what you would think. The wonder of it!"--Tasha Tudor

Gobble Gobble!

John and I took a ride up to Gozzi's Turkey Farm in Guilford, Connecticut this morning to pick up our Thanksgiving turkey. Gozzi's is a small family farm that breeds fantastic white turkeys. These colorful Easter-egg-color-dyed turkeys grace the lawn as you drive up to their 'storefront.' ~(It doesn't hurt the birds, just food coloring)~Inside, you will find many state fair and poultry competition ribbons and trophies. The earliest I saw was from the 1950's. Those of us who show our Corgis can appreciate having those ribbons and trophies to remind us of a special win. Gozzi's takes pride in their breeding stock, and well they should! If you want a turkey for Thanksgiving or Christmas, be sure to order it ahead of time for they always sell out. Have a happy week everyone! -CS ^..^

That is the funniest thing I've ever seen! I'd sure like to see that process!
