"Life isn't long enough to do all you could accomplish. And what a privilege even to be alive. In spite of all the pollutions and horrors, how beautiful this world is.
Supposing you only saw the stars once every year. Think what you would think. The wonder of it!"--Tasha Tudor

Another Star In The Sky Tonight

"Kelsey"
3/6/95-8/18/09

This morning, Mary Elizabeth had to say goodbye to Kelsey. Kelsey was the sweetest Corgi ever. Mother to our Indy and Hannah Banana and Grant, she was loved by all and brought little bits of sunshine wherever she went. Click here on our Reinwood Corgis pages, then to 'the girls' to see her in her younger days. Run wild and free, sweet Kelsey. We love you with all of our hearts. xo xo xo

Dear Cathy, what a wonderful expression..."another star in the sky tonight"...I always like to feel that our pups are stars in the sky watching over us. So sorry about your loss. You and Mary Elizabeth are in my thoughts and prayers. The day after Bandit died, I asked for a sign that he was alright...and I couldn't have gotten a better one than this...a double rainbow...so I knew that he is with my Annie chasing bunnies over the rainbow.

Yes, another star in the sky, indeed...I hope her passing was peaceful. What a dearly loved Corgi, and she will be missed.

My sympathies. It's so hard to lose on of our Corgyn but I would not give up these years, even if much shorter than I would like, for anything!

I remember a line in Shadowlands - 'part of having the joy now - will be part of the pain later' - something like that. Anyway sorry for your loss. I know it hurts.

What a sweet, sweet face.
How lovely...another star in the sky....I'll remember that. As our two age, now 9.5, and 7.5, we look at their faces closer, and feel a twinge...knowing that time is passing. We just love them the best we can while we have them.
Ohhh, the pain that's coming. We share in yours..they leave their mark on us, don't they.

Rose read about the death of one of your beloved corgi companions and immediately came to tell me. We both sighed with sympathy.

Kelsey was a beautiful light in the lives of those that knew her, and I can tell this because of the way you share your heart with us about her loss.

I'm almost ready to quit getting on the computer lately... This is about the 6th or 7th beloved pet I've read about this week, and I just hope the Lord isn't preparing me for a problem with OC. She is over 10 and sometimes has a LOT of problems standing up.

I am feeling the sorrows of the loss of so many of my friends, furfriends! I know that our special little corgi people make a huge chunk of our hearts, theirs. I choose to believe that they become another of those treasures that we lay up in Heaven, and I love your comment about "another star..." Good Night, Sweet Kelsey, until the morning...

RIP Kelsey... Looks like she's had 14 good years though. Hope Bryson will have a good, long life like Kelsey.
