Thank you to everyone for the calls and emails about Bridget's Award Of Merit at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show yesterday. Mary Elizabeth and I were thrilled and grateful to Mrs. Donna Francis for the honor. We are so happy for Cheryl, Ed and Liz and their lovely boy Spencer who won Best of Breed. He is such a great dog. Bridget told me she has a little crush on him. Here is a link to the WKC video of the Corgi breed judging. Mary Elizabeth is in the red jacket and black skirt. Congratulations to Carly on BOS and Rowdy on his AOM. All of the entries looked spectacular.
Although we were all exhausted by the end of the day, we did have a great time. I will post more photos as I get them. -CS ^..^

Congratulations to you and Mary Elizabeth for Bridget's big win!!! Bridget is a beautiful girl!!! I'm thrilled for you all!!!
Before I looked at your blog I read our local newspaper about a dog here from Charleston, WV that won an award at the show also. It was the big black snauser (bad spelling) I didn't know that that type of dog could be that big!
I can't wait to see more pictures of that beauty!

Congrats!! All the corgis are so gorgeous in that video. I've been traveling this week and missed the show, so thanks for linking to the clip! I just heard (quite belated) that a PWC won the herding group at AKC, go corgis!
Cathy! I just watched this wonderful video of the Corgis at Westminster! Your Bridget was divine!! (Did I tell you I have a daughter named Bridget--spelled that way, too!) Were you in that crowd of folks surrounding the little show ring? I can't imagine the excitement you must have experienced in that grand competition!
