"Life isn't long enough to do all you could accomplish. And what a privilege even to be alive. In spite of all the pollutions and horrors, how beautiful this world is. Supposing you only saw the stars once every year. Think what you would think. The wonder of it!"--Tasha Tudor

Corgi Picnic Photos!
Stella had a great time at the Mayflower Corgi picnic on Sunday! Here are some photos we took of the fun. Sometimes a picture speaks a thousand words so I will let them do the talking! Enjoy! -CS ^..^
OMG, these are awesome!! I love all the costumes but I have to say my favorite is the first one, i.e. the turn-of-the-century Tasha Tudor look :D These photos are precious, thanks for sharing!
Wish we had Westie picnics up near me. Ryan took me out for pancakes on Sunday morning, and there were a few corgi's outside, waiting for their owners. Simply darling!!
Thanks for your comment about the pink sponge rollers. I think you should pick up the Pink Challenge from Bev at How Sweet the Sound and do a cute little Pink Corgi thing or two-----I'll bet you coooooould! Have a great Monday! Dana
How funny, I came across your blog and was browsing old entries and found this... I have a Calvin kid! I recognized him immediately in the last picture, then backtracked and recognized Marianne too.

"Corgoyle"
There are many enchanted stone Corgoyles that stand watch over Corgilot Castle. Hang one in your own castle to ward off things too scary to think about (or to shoo away sinister Corgis that choose to use their powers for evil....) Do not be alarmed if your Corgoyle disappears from his pedestal. Methinks he shall return before sunrise....

The Christmas Corgi Employee Of The Month
"Harley"
Employee Of The Month
The kisser of all kissers, ambassador of Corgi cuteness, love bug and snuggler extraordinaire; all of these things describe Harley. Reinwood Harley Heritage Softail, works on becoming a champion by day, works on destuffing toys by night. He is completely shameless, however, upon meeting new friends. In his mind everyone he meets presents an opportunity to spread the Corgi love. He will flirt for popcorn, pizza crust or a little sip of that blue slushie you have there. He has his flirting technique down pat really. A paw on your leg, a quick batting of his eyelashes, a soulful stare. You don't even realize you have been shmoozed out of your treats. It comes in handy for me though. He keeps guests occupied while I try to create new Christmas Corgi treasures. For his tireless efforts, I am happy to announce that Harley has been awarded Employee of the Month.

I really should have driven down but family was busy with stuff that day. I'll hopefully see everyone at the match in September.

So very cute! My daughters--who desperately want a dog--are loving these pictures!
And, I noticed you had Susan Wittig Albert's site in your sidebar...she is one of my favorites!
God Bless,
Jane

The little pig suits made me laugh out loud. What an adorable bunch of dogs! :)

This is Faulks. He was out of Calvin & Hobbes in late 06...
So awesome to see Calvin again, even if this entry is a year old :)
