Say Hello to "Toby." Toby is an 8 year old QH/Draft/paint cross. Height 15 hands approximately. A premarin foal rescued by Frank Weller eight years ago in Canada. He arrived USA soil
moments before the World Trade Center was hit. As a result of this rescue Frank went on to rescue more foals over the years thus starting up an organization called
Equine Angels Rescue Sanctuary (
E.A.R.S).
Here is a photo of Toby when Mary Elizabeth first saw him.
I think it was love at first sight.
Here he is meeting his new friends, Deejay and Willie.
I wonder what they are telling him? Probably about all the treats
Santa was going to bring for Christmas.
What a happy life Toby is going to have!
Have a happy day, my lovelies! xo xo CS ^..^

Wow! You have some awesome posts I needed to catch up on!! That Toby is wonderful and so are those little puppies. Do they belong to one of your dogs?
I hope your DIL is continuing to do OK....what a scare!
I, too, was late getting my decorating done, but that's how I usually operate each year! I am also a nut about Christmas movies. I watch almost everyone I can find....I'm especially fond of ANY version of the Scrooge and The Grinch (cartoon version is my favorite!)
I LOVED watching the video of the Corgi on your paint table! HOW did that pooch get up there in the first place? It was a riot!
I hope you got my e-mail about the tree and I want to wish you a wonderful New Year!

Wishing you a happy new year. Sandie
oh, what a lovely horse! What pretty coloring. Maybe some day I'll get a pony for christmas ;)
Happy New Year, Everyone! Sandie...Mary Elizabeth took the photos of Toby. She IS a fantastic photographer! xo xo
Your blog is heartwarming. Toby taught me that "Rescues, Rescue Us" and he got me through the crazy times of 911. He saved me. I think that we have found him a great home with Mary-Elizabeth, don't you? That is our mission and we have other noble souls to meet at www.foalrescue.com Please share with friends and I'm so happy you've met Toby. Frank Weller-EARS
He's gorgeous!!! I'm not a typical horse person, mostly out of inexperience, but couldn't help oooh'ing and aaah'ing over him. My eldest flipped, she wants one. LOL
Toby is gorgeous, Happy New Year to you All.
What beautiful coloring and what a handsome guy!! Wow. Love that photo of him running (trotting?) in the snow! Also, I saw your "snow" effects on the pictures :) cute!
A very happy New Year to you, Cathy.
I love to hear rescue stories - of Corgis, and other animals, too. I've rescued and re-homed a good many deserving pets, and it gives one a good feeling inside when the perfect home is found! I've taken in and KEPT a few deserving Corgis - wish I could save them all! Horses are a passion of mine, and I do love the one I own! She got a new winter coat this year to keep off the rain and snow and cold. Older horses need a little help, and she looks GREAT in RED! Have a happy New Year!
Happy New Year! I am in love with Toby, he has such a kind face. How very special that he was rescued. You will all have a wonderful life with him I am sure, Hugs, Catherine x
Hey there... I added your link to my blog, I am in the process of adding all of my fellow AhA artisans... Hugs and nice to meet you and your darling Corgi

Oh, I LOVE horses! Every trip to Disney World, I always stop by Fort Wilderness just to see the horses. ;o) They really are beautiful, intelligent creatures.

Toby is just gorgeous! What a wonderful thing to be rescued and given a great new home. We've done that when the Lord has brought several abused horses and dogs to us throughout the years.
My first horse's Mom was colored just like him!
How are your pups coming? They grow SO fast. Will you keep any? We kept 3 of ours, making a total of 6 now. THAT gets a little hectic!
